The direction of TSS Publishing in terms of online Flash Fiction content

These roles are open to discussion and Senior Editors will, largely, be able to choose when they want to read, how much they want to read, what they want to publish etc. TSS Publishing has always offered those we work with autonomy – the roles are therefore well-suited to individuals who would like to take the helm and enjoy discovering new voices and publishing outstanding content and managing the workflow as they wish.

These roles are being created as TSS explores moving into print publications and widening the creative range of the website.

Please note:

A high level of experience in short stories or flash fiction is required.
Previous experience working on a journal is beneficial.
An active presence on social media is also a plus – we want our Senior Editors to help spread the news about the writers they’ve selected for publication.
While this role is voluntary, we will look at running a tip jar for each submission period and Senior Editors will be given 50% of any proceeds.

Please contact Rupert – rupert@theshortstory.co.uk – if you are interested, outlining any relevant experience. In the subject line, please put: Senior Editor Role.

Applications close on 31st January 2019

Decisions will be made by 15th February 2019.
